Recovery Oriented System of Care - ROSC

Michigan's Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) supports an individual's journey toward recovery and wellness by creating and sustaining networks of formal and informal services and supports. The opportunities established through collaboration, partnership, and a broad array of services promote life-enhancing recovery and wellness for individuals, families, and communities.

ROSC Mission Statement:  Better life through recovery in a supportive community, bridging formal & informal networks of care.

The goals of the ROSC are to:

  • Promote a common framework for Treatment and Prevention
  • Reduce the harm caused by substance use and mental disorders
  • Help individuals make the transition from brief treatment experiences to sustained recovery via diverse services and supports
  • Promote good quality of life and improve community health and wellness for all
