GHS has released an RFP for PC & CLS in a Licensed Residential Setting due to the current need to identify potential placements (open beds) for consumers with  Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.  Please review this opportunity.  Interested parties may include proviuders with existing capacity to accept I/DD consumers into existing AFC group homes, willing to pursue and obtain Specialized Residential Certification for their home(s).  Providers with currently Licensed Specialized Residential group homes are also encouraged to review this opportunity.

Community Training Opportunities for Grant Writing

Grant Writing 101
Tuesday, September 20 | 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.

In this interactive session, participants will gain an understanding of what grants are (and are not). They will gain strategies for identifying potential funders, learn to identify the common components of grants, begin work on creating those components and determine which projects or programs in your organization might be eligible for grant funding. This session will also cover common reasons grants are not funded and ways to avoid these mistakes.
