GHS Community Garden Project

Most people are aware of the physical benefits of gardening, but they don’t always think about other types of benefits. Participating in a community garden can provide some very significant and much needed mental health benefits. Participating in a community garden can provide some very significant and much needed mental health benefits in addition to physical exercise. That is why Genesee Health System created the “GHS Garden Project;” we understand the importance of being healthy from the inside out. Come visit our award-winning garden. We were the recipients of the "2012 Urban Garden Beautification Award" from keep Genesee County Beautiful. We're very proud of the award, our garden, and the contribution it makes to our community.
