Salary Range $54,904 - $73,353 ANNUALLY

General Statement of Duties Under the direction of the Clinical Services Project Manager or designee, responsible for the supervision of social workers and other behavioral health care clinic staff as needed, as well as, the adherence to model fidelity of identified evidence-based practices for the prevention and treatment of individuals with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders within the framework of an Integrated Recovery Oriented System of Care. Responsible for clinical supervision, staff development, case consultation and facilitation of treatment team meetings. Works collaboratively with prescribers and other team members at GCHC, ensuring integrated and effective treatment approaches. Intervenes to provide direct supervision of crisis assessment, triage and brief therapeutic evidence-based interventions suited to patients served. Duties involve collaboration with community partners including local schools, hospitals, jails, Region 10 Access Center and providers of care at Genesee Health System. Performs related work as required.
Minimum Requirements Master’s Degree in Social Work with a Michigan Master Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential, AND two (2) years experience in a behavioral health care setting AND one (1) year supervisory experience.
Preferences MCBAP credential; either Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) OR Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) OR Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional –Diplomat (CCDP-D). Experience working in a community-based health care setting.
Additional Requirements Must obtain a development plan from Michigan Certification of Board of Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) within 3 months of hire, if employee does not possess a MCBAP credential. Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance and the use of a vehicle during work hours. Must be able to meet the physical and sensory demands of the position. Must submit a copy of college transcripts and license with application. Must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays or irregular hours.
